Also once a month at the Waterworks Jazz Club Birmingham 21st August, 18th Sept, 16th Oct, 27th November, prior to the live band, so 7.30pm first lesson, then a strolling lesson while the band have their break.
Classes are run by Alistair Fitzgerald of the Mad Hatters Dance Club, who is well known on the Swing and Rock’n’Roll dance scene, (partly due to his addiction to his Trilby), where he has been active for the last 15 years. Dawn, his regular partner, is well known for her creative clothing, (check out Alistair’s Zoot suits!).
We have ALL age ranges, from teens to retired, the only thing in common is the fun and laughter!
Our website is designed to give you some details of the dance tuition we provide, Jitterbug, East Coast Swing Style, a stylish form of jive with lots of Charleston moves included. (Some weeks ago we were teaching BBC presenter Fran Daly, and last year we taught BBC's Annie Othen a special Charleston routine!)
There are also a number of other services we can provide, either as entertainment at weddings, birthday parties, fund raising events, Corporate Team Building or within the Educational Establishment.
Our mission is to run a professional club, in the way we would have liked to have been taught, so we even detail all the beginners lessons in writing (Something we never had in over 12 years of attending lessons!). We foster an exceptionally friendly atmosphere, Don't just take our word for it,check members comments either on the portfolio pages, or even better, come down and see!

You do not need a partner for the lesson as we use a style of teaching which copes with uneven numbers, but please bring a friend, we are a social club!
